We work in partnership with organisations, locally, regionally and nationally.
U Night Group
The U Night Group were instrumental in helping to set up Meet 'N' Match. Through the group's Y Training, they develop and deliver relationship training for organisations across the UK.
Voice for All (Brothers of Charity)
Voice for All are a self advocacy group based in Chorley. They support our work by providing use of their venue to host our LGBT support groups. We work closely with self advocates from the organisation to promote love, sex and relationships across Lancashire.
Lancashire Learning Disability Board
We sit on the Friends and Relationships sub-group of the Lancashire Learning Disability Board who act as a steering group for the development of Meet N Match in Lancashire.
We are a member of the The Supported Loving campaign, who believe that people with learning disabilities have the right to fall in love and have relationships if they want. The network is made up of support agencies and dating agencies across the UK who meet regularly to share best practice, learn from each other and raise awareness. Supported Loving have produced a toolkit to help support people with learning disabilities with issues around sex and relationships.
Through NWTDT/Pathways Associates, we link with The North West Living well Group and Lancashire Confirm and Challenge Group, who act as a North West Regional reference group to support Meet N Match alongside similar work in Greater Manchester and hopefully Cheshire and Mersey in the future. The group, self advocates and families from across the North West are keen for us to work collaboratively, share our work and link up to develop services.
