About us
Meet N Match is a project run by Spring into Action CIC, aiming to reduce social isolation and loneliness by offering opportunities for people with a learning disability and/or autism, to meet new people in a safe way. We are committed to helping people to form long lasting friendships and relationships.
The project launched in 2016 as a Lancashire based project with funding from The People’s Health Trust. It was the idea of Stephen Haywood, who for many years found it difficult to find a positive and meaningful relationship. He found that other people like him, had similar issues and often speaks out about the need for more support for people who need it.
The project was initially launched by the U Night Group and has since gone from strength to strength. We now provide exclusive matching, relationship training and social activities across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire & Merseyside.
